Most common reasons to use physiotherapy:

  • Performance enhancement and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.

  • Post-operative rehabilitation for animals with orthopaedic or neurological conditions.

  • Enhancement of quality of life in patients with degenerative conditions such as arthritis. Physiotherapy slows degeneration and treats compensatory muscle spasm.

Physiotherapy is a complementary therapy which is carried out under veterinary referral.

Treatments are delivered by means of massage therapy, mobilisations, stretches, therapeutic equipment, and rehabilitation plans.
